Birmingham International Airport is located 8 miles east of Birmingham at the centre of the UK's motorway network. From the city centre take the A45 east towards Coventry. From the south or north take the M42 (linking to the M40 and M1, M6 and M5). Exit at junction 6 taking the A45 towards the city centre. The Airport is 1 mile from there and is well signposted.

Buses
National Express (+44 (0)870 580 8080) operate coach services connecting a number of major cities with Birmingham Airport. There is also a service provided by Flightlink (+44 (0)870 575 7747) coaches.
Local buses stop outside the terminals and connect with the city centre and the surrounding areas. The Airport Link (Traveline - +44 (0)870 608 2608) operates between the terminals and the city centre every 20 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes evenings and Saturdays.
Rail
Birmingham International railway station is linked to the passenger Terminals by SkyRail which is free and the journey takes less than 2 minutes.
Birmingham New Street station is a 10-15 minute journey from Birmingham International rail station. There are 6 trains running per hour during the day but less frequently in the evenings and at the weekend and no trains overnight. For train information contact National Rail on +44 (0)8457 48 49 50.
