Have you got your new European Health Insurance Card?

On 31 December 2005, your E111 ceased to be valid. From 1 January 2006, you will need a European Health Insurance Card to receive healthcare that becomes necessary during your visit to an EEA country or Switzerland.
For details and to apply for an European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) please visit www.ehic.org.uk
You can apply for the EHI Card online and should receive it in around 7 days.
Unlike the E111 the EHIC is valid for 5 years.
