Ryanair to launch new base at Birmingham Airport

Ryanair has announced today that it will open a new base at Birmingham Airport. Twenty-two destinations – including new routes to nine countries – will be available from the budget airline’s 25th base.
Ryanair will base 737-800 two aircraft at the airport initially, rising to 10 over the next five years. It is estimated that an extra five million passengers a year will go through the airport in the next five years as a result of the deal.
