BA announce Gatwick – New York flights

British Airways announced today that it is boosting services from London to New York JFK by starting daily flights from Gatwick Airport on October 27, when it launches its winter schedule. However, the airline also announced that it will 'suspend' its New York flights from Manchester at the same time.

The new Gatwick flights mean that BA will fly 62 times each week from London to JFK, with as the new flights operating in addition to its 55 weekly flights from Heathrow. They will operate on a four class Boeing 777 - that will be moved from Heathrow - with First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller cabins.
