easyJet launch Newcastle – Murcia flights

easyJet has launched a new service from Newcastle Airport to Murcia, offering travellers the chance to visit beaches along the Spanish coastline. The route is the airline's 17th from Newcastle and will operate three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday with return tickets starting from £46.98.

easyJet expects to carry 41,000 passengers on this new route in the first 12 months of operation.
