By Car

London City Airport is in Docklands, 6 miles east of the City and about 15 minutes' drive, traffic permitting, from Tower Bridge. From the north east of London the airport can be accessed via the M11/A11 (Junction 27/M25) or via the A12 (Junction 28/M25). There are black cabs directly outside the terminal.

Bus / Coach

A shuttle bus runs from Canning Town, Liverpool Street and Canary Wharf stations. The number 473 bus serves Stratford, Silvertown, North Woolwich, and Prince Regent Station and the 69 serves Silvertown, Canning Town (for Jubilee Line, Docklands Light Railway and Silverlink Metro), Stratford, Leytonstone and Walthamstow. The 474 bus serves Canning Town, North Woolwich and East Beckton via Silvertown.

Rail

The Jubilee Line runs to Canning Town, from where there is a frequent shuttle bus straight to the airport. Liverpool Street station on the Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan Lines also runs a shuttle bus to the airport. DLR runs trains to Canary Wharf where there is also a shuttle bus. Silverlink Metro runs overland trains every 30 minutes from North London to Canning Town. More details from London Transport
