By Car

Stansted airport is 40 miles north-east of Central London, close to Stevenage and Chelmsford. From London take the A11 and then the M11 to Junction 8.

Bus / Coach

National Express (+44 (0)870 580 8080) operates coach services connecting a number of major cities with Stansted Airport. The coaches can be caught from the Stansted coach station, which is on the forecourt of the terminal.

There are several services operating from Stansted coach station. Terravision shuttle runs between Stansted and London Victoria. Arriva runs services more locally.

Rail

Stansted has its own station underneath the terminal and is served by the Stansted Express. which runs every fifteen minutes to half an hour, depending on the time of day.
